The situation
An automotive OEM running a broad digital transformation: connected vehicle data, dealer and service systems, manufacturing digitisation and customer platforms. Large programmes, long horizons, and a scale of delivery that outruns any internal hiring pipeline.
What we did
A delivery pod took on application and data engineering across the OEM's platform estate, with enterprise governance as the operating constraint rather than an afterthought.
Delivery pod · OEM governance
01
Pod formed
Engineers screened for enterprise cadence
02
Inside their gates

03
Scope agreed

04
Clean handover
Time-boxed · delivered · handed back
Scale their internal pipeline couldn't match alone
The pod ran inside the OEM's own change control, release governance, security review and compliance gates. Engineers were screened and prepared for that cadence rather than dropped into it. Application work landed on dealer, service and customer platforms; data engineering landed against vehicle, manufacturing and supply chain sources.
Scoped and time-boxed from the start: a defined pod for a defined duration, scope agreed, delivery owned, with a clean handover at close rather than a permanent presence.
The shape of it
A pod of three to five engineers over eighteen months, delivered against a defined scope with a planned handover at close.
The outcome
Engineering delivery owned by the pod across the OEM's platform estate, inside enterprise governance and at a scale the client's internal recruitment could not match alone.
