A fintech trading app

A trading app, shipped to both stores and supported after

UI/UX development of a mobile trading app, release on iOS and Android, and the support cadence that comes after: crash hunts, store policy churn, user feedback loops.

The situation

A fintech venture building a trading app. The product thesis was decided and the backend was in place. What was missing was the application a user would actually open on their phone, trust with their money, and reach for again. The engineering problem was turning the product into an app that works, feels credible, and gets through both app stores, then stays shippable after.

What we did

We took the trading app from UI/UX through to published on iOS and Android, and stayed on for support after.

Trading app · from UI/UX to the stores
  1. 01

    UI/UX development

Mobile-first flows for picking, placing and holding trades

  2. 02

    iOS + Android

Native-feeling on both, from one shared codebase

  3. 03

    Real-time price updates

Streaming cleanly, even on a patchy connection

  4. 04

    App-store release

Fintech review bucket on Apple + Google, cleared both

  5. 05

    Ongoing support

Crash hunts · policy churn · user feedback cycles

And still shipping, after launch

Design that treats a trading screen for what it is: dense information users act on in seconds. Clear hierarchy for prices and movement. Confirmation steps where the cost of a wrong tap is real.

Native-feeling apps on iOS and Android built from one shared codebase, so a UX change goes to both stores in one release. Real-time price updates that stream smoothly even on patchy mobile connections.

The app-store release itself: a fintech trading app sits in Apple and Google's strictest review bucket, which takes correct metadata, documented compliance, and a submission team that has been through the back-and-forth before.

Support after launch: crash telemetry chased down fast, user-reported issues turned into fixes, and the quarterly rhythm of store policy changes that force re-submissions. Handled rather than passed back.

The shape of it

Two to three engineers through design, build, store release and into ongoing support.

The outcome

A trading app live on both stores, with a UX credible enough that users return, and a team that stays on through the policy churn and the user feedback that comes with real usage.
